To understand the physiology of raised intracranial pressure, cerebrospinal fluid circulation and intracranial blood flow
To recognise central nervous system infection, and understand the acute management
To be familiar with causes of spontaneous intracranial haemorrhage and the principles of management of subarachnoid haemorrhage
