Alex Bennett has a busy clinical practice as an ENT Consultant and Clinical Director in Edinburgh. He is appointed Council member of the British Society of Otology, Fellow of the Faculty of surgical Trainers, Royal College of Surgeon’s Edinburgh (RCSEd) and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer, University of Edinburgh. He runs two annual international courses accredited by the RCSEd: The Complete Ear Surgery Course and The Edinburgh ‘hands-on’ Balance Course.
His current research interest is in ‘real world’ results in otology and unilateral aural atresia having pioneered combining Hearing Implant Surgery with autologous reconstruction in the UK within the Scottish National Service.
